SARGAKSHETRA

Sargakshetra is a unique platform in St. Thomas Apostolic Seminary to
grow in Gospel values through artistic expressions. It focuses on the
revival of our traditional Christian art forms and also promotes the
talents inherent in the seminarians. The motto itself speaks volumes
on the intention of this broad platform. The motto of Sargakshetra is
to grow in Gospel values through art.
The inauguration of sargakshetra was on July 2, 2017. The members of
sargakshetra dance team performed 'chavittu nadakam', a unique art
form of the Syro-Malabar Christian tradition.

St. Thomas Day Cultural Academy

The Dukhrana of St. Thomas, the Apostle and cultural academy were held on 3^rd July 2017. Dr. Johny Lukose, the news director of Manorama news presided over the function of the academy. He enlightened the audience with his sharing of thoughts and visions. The meeting began with a prayer, followed by the welcoming address by Br Mathukutty Tharappil. There were two stirring speeches delivered by Brs. Amal Mathrickal and Rony Puthenveettil on the mission of St. Thomas, the Apostle. The meeting concluded with words of gratitude by Br. Jeril Kuzhinjalil.
